My sister will be here SOON!

Varrah is very excited to meet her sister, who's due date is around 2 weeks away. Varrah came 1 week early, so based on history she could be here anytime. Here are a few images of her from the 3d Ultrasound we did @ 26 weeks.

Check back frequently to see the first pics when she gets here.

Time for the YEARLY Update...OOPS!

Well it has been a little over a year since our last post....how sad is that. Even though it isn't an excuse, we have been pretty busy. I have changed jobs, Erika has gotten knocked up and Varrah goes to Dance class and has become quite the entertainer.

Varrah has changed ALOT since the last time we updated. She has a wonderful vocabulary and communicates with us using some very interesting statements that make us laugh. She is super excited to be a big sister and tells everyone about her new baby sister that is in Mommy's tummy. (Who could be joining us any day now)

Halloween was a lot of fun for Varrah. First she had a Halloween party at her Aunt Krista's house where she filled up on themed edibles. Then we took her to Northfield, MN where she trick-or-treated with some friends. She got more candy than she knew what to do with. It was a blast.

Christmas was a blast this year, Varrah really got into the idea of Christmas (Jesus' birthday) and had lots of fun playing Christmas with the nativity set. She also experienced and understood Santa and how he comes to our home and brings Presents. Her face when she saw that Santa had come and eaten the cookies and milk she had left him was priceless. Nonetheless, she doesn't want the Holiday to end.

This fall she also started Dance Classes at the Little Gym in Burnsville. She gets to learn gymnastics which include tumbling, balance beam, rings and bars. Ballet and Tap dancing are the other focus and while tap is hard for her to get into, the ballet is her favorite and she shows it with her dizzying number of spins and twirls.

Wow....it has been awhile!

We are sorry, we realize that it has been a really really long time since we updated this blog. We have had a lot going on! Here are the updates....

Varrah Is a Busy Girl As Usual

She is 1 month shy of turning 2. There is no way that I can update the last 6 months with her in this post, but hopefully the pictures will do some justice. She has a very loving, humorous, sweet and gentle personality. She loves to dance, sing, take care of her baby dolls, direct seating arrangements, read books and have mommy put her hair in pigtails. There is a lot more, but it is late at night, and David and I ran out of memory for the day. Enjoy the pics!

Our Sweet Little Angel Frederick George

By now I am sure most of you have heard that we lost our little baby boy when I was 5 months pregnant with him. He shattered our world the day he left us. The Dr. was not sure why he passed away, but we found out that he did have down syndrome. It is really hard to find the right words to say to honor his existence, but we sure do love him a lot and will always hold a special place in our hearts for him. We named him after my maternal grandfather Frederick and David's maternal grandfather George who are both in heaven watching over our little guy. We love you Frederick!

Varrah the Blankie Girl

Varrah LOVES her blankies and she always wraps herself up in them, usually more than one blankie at a time. This time however, she got a hold of mom and dad's and got stuck in it because it is so big. I had to bail her out of this one.

Or not...hahaha

Sorry, It has Been a While...

Varrah has been busy as usual! She just turned 15 months. Crazy how fast time goes. She is talking a lot now and uses quite a bit of sign language. She makes us laugh every day with the different things she comes up with. These pictures are not that great, but they are better than nothing :)

Varrah's One Year Studio Pictures

Auntie Krista and Uncle Jeff's generous birthday gift to Varrah was to have her pictures taken at a JcPenny's studio. They turned out great! Thank you Krista and Jeff!
